Welcome to the website of George Burrell, where you will find everything you need to know about who I am and what I get up to. I have always enjoyed watching/creating short films and sharing that with other people. I hope to be a talented filmmaker and to venture into the film industry in the camera department. Currently a Camera Trainee, I would like to one day become a Cinematographer. Previous Work
Camera Trainee
Short Film
On a short film shoot, I worked as Camera Trainee. My role was to help set up the camera and to assist arranging shots.
2ND Assistant Camera
Short Film
As a second AC I was working with the camera department. My role was mainly to be clapper loader, but also assisting where needed.
Assistant Camera
Short Film
On this short film shoot I was First Camera Assist. My role was to assist the camera operator when necessary, this involved; lens changes, camera set-up, positioning, pull focusing etc.
Camera Trainee

On location for this shoot I was Camera Trainee. The was a challenge as the environment was different to what I have previously worked in.

Sheffield Doc Fest
I volunteered at Sheffield Documentary Festival in 2016 as part of the Film Crew. My role was to independently set up and film talks using a variety of cameras.
Production Runner
TV Commercial [Cogent]
For this commercial I was brought on as a daily for two days. My role involved; getting release forms sign, helping prep locations and equipment, and assisting cast and crew when required.
